Mathiya Adams has started a new series of "fun" mysteries. The stories are a combination of supernatural fantasy, cozy-style mysteries, and tongue-in-cheek humor. The stories follow the adventures of Ava Storm, a scry witch who is employed by the Los Angeles Police Department to help solve "Exceptional Crimes," those crimes that involve vampires, werewolves, witches, goblins, and a host of other fantastical creatures. Each book will pit Ava and her somewhat dubious detective skills against a world where the supernatural behave in an all too human fashion.
